 Suzuki used Hitachi Carberators on Samurais. Perhaps one of the most complex carberator designs on the market they are next to impossible for the shade tree mechanic to rebuild. Completely remanufactured with all new seals, gaskets and refurbished components. Comes with the new CORRECT intake manifold gaskets. Yes, we have found that the gaskets used by just about everyone are wrong. Even we fell into a false sense of security until we noticed a difference on the dyno. All carbs are rebuilt in house, installed, tested and SMOG'd to assure that they function correctly. All carbs come with spec sheet of numbers produced during SMOG test. We have found that a bad carb is only about 40% of the problem on the Samurai.

ECM Repair and Repaired ECM's |
 Do you have a problem starting your 1990’s model car? Suzuki used Mitsubishi computers in all their Samuri, Sidekick and Geo Tracker models. The downside to the Mitsubishi computer is the capacitors used on the circuit boards. Over time these capacitors start to corrode and leak, which eats away the etchings on the main board eventually breaking the connection and causing the car not to start. Repaired ECM's are also available for those who do not have a core.
A quick way to test this is to run a self diagnostic and look for the code on the dash service light. Usually a code 41 or 42.

Weber Carburetors |
 The Weber carb kits are very easy to install and include everything you will need for the installation. A definite power gain with fast throttle response. These Carbs are not legal for use on pollution controlled vehicles.
This Weber kit uses the stock air cleaner, we feel that this is the best choice as the stock air cleaner is larger than the aftermarket units.

After almost a year of trial and error Petroworks has finally refined the use of a motorcycle CV (constant velocity) carberator. We would have never believed that this setup would work, but it really does. In Dyno testing (yes we tested it!) the CV carberator performed through the entire power range up to 4500RPM (CV44mm). Pulling strong and hard right off the line, power on demand. Off road we found that the CV carb did not stall, flood, or falter at any angle. Making this carb setup one of the simplest designs you could possibly put on a vehicle.
