EZ-Lockers |
 In 4WD and stuck anyway? Add lockers to your rig! With stock open differentials, you can end up stuck anytime you lose traction at one wheel on each axle. Detroit EZ Lockers from Tractech maintain traction in that situation by providing automatic, positive-locking differential operation. Detroit EZ Lockers can be used in both the front and rear differentials of the Samurai, or Front Sidekick/Tracker. The locker replaces the differential's spider gears and the ring and pinion gears are not affected. Minor calibration is needed when setting up. However, no special equipment or tools are required for installation.

ARB Air Locker |
 ARB's revolutionary differential uses compressed air from an on-board air compressor to lock both wheels of one axle so they work as one, providing equal driving power to each wheel. One compressor operates both front and rear lockers. Air Lockers are operated by the driver so they can be engaged or disengaged at will by pushing a das-mounted button.
This means there are no changes in handling or tire wear when they are unlocked, making the Air Locker ideal for use in front differentials. No other locker or limited-slip differential offers these advantages!
Easy to Use: Dash-mounted push-button operation allows the driver to engage or disengage the Air Locker at will; locking takes place in1/10th of a second.
Versatile: Ideal for both street and trail use; especially suited for use in front differentials.
Air Powered: On-board air compressor provides 80-105 psi for inflating tires, rafts, etc; fast-recovery compressor. When using Optional RDPUK inflation kit.

 If you have an ARB Locker in the front of your car and wish to install Heavy Duty 26 Spline Chromoly Axle shafts you will need to change the side gears in your locker. Or, you can buy a new ARB rear locker and install it in the front end.
