Power Steering Kit |
 The Petroworks Power Steering kit will make driving your Samurai a breeze, both on- and off-road. Petroworks provides the only proper alignment bracket for the Gear Box to keep your steering column in line. The power steering kit utilizes easily found Sidekick power steering components (steering box, pump, and reservoir). This kit can be installed using normal hand tools and does not require any drilling, welding, or bending. It is completely "bolt-on. Petroworks Power Steering Kit includes gearbox frame bracket, pump bracket, flat belt, installation hardware, and flat belt crank pulley (1.3 only). If you are running a 1.6 motor and want to run AC and Power Steering we can modify the stock brackets, this will require the use of a Tracker/Sidekick AC Pump, and converting your AC lines from R12 to R134.

Rag Joint Eliminator |
 PetroWorks Rag Joint Eliminator. One of the weakest links in the Samurai steering system is the wimpy Rag Joint used to connect the steering rod to the gear box. We modify the Samurai Steering Shaft and a Sidekick steering shaft. This unit allows you to remove the rag joint. These units are built to work on Samurai, Sidekick/Tracker and Toyota Gear boxes. We require an OEM Samurai and Sidekick/Tracker steering linkage as a core, a refundable $75.00 core charge is added to your order.
