Did you buy a cheap Ebay/Craiglist Suspension setup for you Samurai only to find out that the Drag Link hits the Right Spring when you clock the steering wheel to the right?
Well what they forgot to sell you was a "Z" Bar. The term is pretty self evident as the bar is shaped like a "Z". When you lift a Samurai to Spring Over Axle (SPOA) you have to change the steering drag link at a minimum. This usually done with a "Z" bar shapped drag link. It allows you to clock the steering all the way to the right, and allows the steering to function when the suspension is at full flex (so long as you have bumpstops).
The "Z" bar is not the end all, it is just a quick economical solution to fix the steering. If you really want to do it right then check out our High Steer kits and our Power Steering conversions.
Comes ready to bolt on.
We recommend getting a front end alignment after installation.
