Rebuilt Suzuki Samurai Transmission.

Just like everything else on the Samurai the transmission will eventually need to be rebuilt.  All transmissions come from good used cores. We strip them down to their bare essentials and run them through a hot steam cleaner, then mic out every part to make sure they are within rebuild spec.  Any part not within spec is replaced.

Assembled with all new bearings, seals and thrust washers.  The throw out bearing surface is replaced with a new bronze bushing for a smooth clutch feel.

Syncros are only replaced if needed. The majority of Samurais transmissions do not need new syncros. In fact they almost never wear out.  If we do replace them they are replaced using OEM Suzuki Syncros, not cheap aftermarket syncros found in every transmission rebuild kit on the market.  We have found over the years that the cheaper Chinese made aftermarket synchros are in fact sized wrong and creates a problem during shifting that most people assume is a transmission rebuild issue.

NOTE:

There is a $450 Core Charge. You will receive your $450 once we receive your rebuildable core transmission back. If you provide us your transmission in advance we will just rebuild it and avoid the CORE charge
